Put your detective skills to work: Refer the best talent to join BCEHS!

One of the best ways to find new employees is by word of mouth from our own employees – the best know the best. Because employees are familiar with our work and our staffing needs, we've launched Talent Detectives, a program that rewards employees who are BCEHS ambassadors for recruitment.

The Talent Detective Program provides financial rewards in the form of gift cards to BCEHS employees who recruit and refer applicants to our most difficult-to-recruit vacancies. Here are the gift-card amounts, by type of vacancy:

regular full-time vacancies: $150
temporary full-time and regular part-time vacancies: $100
temporary part-time and casual vacancies, including for PHSA Temporary Staffing: $50
vacancies for Primary Care Paramedics (PCPs), Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs), or Drivers (driver-only of an ambulance) in difficult-to-fill remote or rural locations: up to $100 (see the end of this page for the list of qualifying locations and criteria that are subject to change on an as needed basis)

To refer a person to the Talent Detectives program:

Ensure that the applicant fills in your name under the "Referred by" box of their initial application.
Email talentdetectives@phsa.ca to let us know the name of the person you're referring, the location of the vacancy and how you recruited them.
BCEHS Careers will monitor the progress of the referral. If the applicant has been hired, you will receive a reward – it's that easy!
